While the current way the drone enters and exits the field may be the most efficient. Some operator will need something more like the XAG. The biggest problem will come from operations from an elevated platform like trailers or trucks. They will need the drone to fly up to the top of those trucks/trailers outside of the field boundary and will also need the drone to ferry at spray height over the field to clear under power lines that cross fields. Options will be needed for the different ways people operate.
