Black Betty Stacked

Camera quality seems low. For us we do run a good number of manual flights so very important to us.

When flying in Manual Plus, after starting the mission, auto heading lock is always on, even when turning it off before hitting start. In Manual Plus, there should be a setting for free flight that allows flying sideways or using roll. Right now, after the mission is started, it locks the drone from rolling and flying sideways

Before returning to home due to the set low battery alarm, there should be a 5-second timer, like how DJI has, to cancel the return to home. Sometimes the drone is flying a pass back towards the trailer with almost low battery and it would be more efficient to be able to cancel the low battery return to home, let it finish the pass, and then manually initiate return to home.

there should be a way to manually edit the amount of product in the tank mid flight.

when connecting the drone flies at the spraying speed. when doing higher gpa work this is slow. the drone should fly at rth speed when connecting inside of the field. This would increase efficiency when using smart resume and filling in a row thats across the field.

There should be a setting for the esc lights to blink in the correct legal FAA pattern for night operations.

Route Optimization - The drone flys in a circular pattern to complete passes. For example, if you park in the middle of a 80 acre field, the drone will start in front of you directly then turn to the right, completing passes to the right of you. After that tank is complete, landed and refilled it will then start left of the trailer, complete a full pass then fly to the passes to the right of the trailer, and leave off where it left off. We noticed this morning 50% of the time it was ferrying to a short pass to fill in, sometimes a half mile away even though there are full passes right next to the drone. It is simply a battery drainer and cannot complete all liquid in the tank, because it is flying with 30gal in the tank a half of mile, at operational speeds, sometimes not being 40 mph.

Upon losing remote signal, have the drone follow the flight path backwards until it recovers signal.

I wanted to bring up something I've noticed with the Black Betty. It seems like it's flying quite a bit lower than the height that's set. I was spraying flat corn fields at 35 mph with Terrain Following turned on, and it was definitely working—the drone was following the ground like it should. The problem is that it still seemed to be flying way too low. At one point, the bottom of the spray tank was actually hitting the corn tassels, which obviously shouldn't happen. I had the height set where I thought it should have had plenty of clearance. I've also seen other people mention the same thing. One operator had his height set to 18.5 feet, but said it looked more like 13.5 feet. Terrain Following was on for him too, so it doesn't seem like that's the issue. Can you guys take a look into this? It feels like the drone is flying lower than what the controller says, and if that's the case, it's something operators should know before they end up running into the crop. Thanks!
