Battery Swapping Difficulty

Does anyone have a way they have found to more easily swap the batteries out of the drone? I have found since the fill cap is located at the rear of the drone it is best to land with it facing away from the operator for easy fill access. The issue is pulling the batteries out especially the more forward battery. It requires a firm “jerk” to get them out and you are reaching across the drone to do it. This really hard on the shoulders as you are doing an upright row type of move bending over the drone. Any others have this issue or have a better way to swap?

If you come at the drone from the side, hook your foot underneath the rise in the landing gear. Stick one leg out off the ground behind you, grab with both hands, and give a good yank using your extended leg for a counterbalance and your hooked foot for leverage. This is the best technique I’ve used.

We need to removed the latches yet but we found to palm the battery release with one hand while pulling in the other.
Given the height of these now operations will be forced to adjust and that’s ok. The foot step is an ok idea especially for heights. I’m 245 pounds though haha. I think of things in the operation side as motions. It does increase a motion of now having to step up and position but may not necessarily be and thing I just try and keep min to a minimum to prevent fatigue and increased man hours etc.

Have you removed the latch on the aircraft battery socket? Removing it will make it easier to remove the battery.

Henry we need to do that yet. The difficulty lies in both the charger and drone.

Could batteries be loaded at the side/sideways instead? Someone (can't remember who) suggested that to me and I'm passing it on.
